Tv went black whiles watching it but still have sound.
@colie we need more information from you. First we need to know the exact model number for your TV. When your TV is with a dark screen but you have sound, shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen. Let us know if you can make out silhouettes etc. If so it’s your backlight. LG seems to have issues with their backlight trips. If not, then you want to go ahead and disconnect all the video inputs and the power outlet. Then hold the power button down for 30-60 seconds. Connect one video source and the power plug. Then try and see if it restarts. Try all the video input sources as well. If that does not yield any change, it may be time to remove the back from your tV and take a look at he boards for any obviously damaged components. Post some images of your boards with your question. that way we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question You’ll need at minimum a multimeter to check out the boards etc. Let us know what you find.
