Chosen Solution
I changed the screen on my daughters ipod touch 5th gen for the 3rd time in 6 months & now i am getting nothing but a black screen. It is recognized by itunes but i’m not getting an image. I checked the replacement screen on an icloud locked model i bought for parts & it works great. I have checked the connections multiple times & still nothing. Any ideas?
While the new screen is plugged in do a soft reset by holding the home and power button down till you see a apple symbol. At least 20 secs to be sure.
