So I can’t install anything… The Mac is a 2017 basically brand new, it loads about half way and then all the sudden BLACK any help?
Yes, more system info (hard drive type, memory, etc)and what you did last before the problem began occurring would be helpful. Plus knowing any and all upgrades you might have made. The only time I’ve seen a problem like this, the memory ended up being the culprit. If you upgraded the RAM and put in the wrong kind(wrong speed for instance) or just got some bad sticks it could possibly do this. Faulty ssd/hd could do it as well.
