Hi. I have a mid 2011 21.5” iMac. It will turn on but there is no image displayed on the screen (it is blank but backlight is working) And via the Mini display port I am able to view the iMac screen on an external monitor. I have checked everything inside and all 4 diagnostics lights light up so everything should be working. Any ideas to do what’s wrong? Anything helps. Cheers Update (02/16/2020)

@quinn218 sounds like a failed display. Your backlight can still work even so the LCD driver board may have failed and thus does not display the actual video data. Double check your connector and carefully inspect the cable. You do want to post some good pictures of those parts with your question. That way we can see what you see.
