Chosen Solution
so after swapping out the HD with a SDD - i connected the LVCD and VSYNC cable back up. But one problem the monitor displays a thick black line with a red line down the screen. If this is any useful - i took a screen shot but did not see it on the image. I guess i need to know whether to get new cables, buy a new screen, ect. Thank guys. looking forward to the help. I can provide images if that’ll help.
This may be on an Apple recall. Please give us your serial number so I can check it out.
