Chosen Solution
While I borrowed my mom’s 1999 Toyota Corolla with out asking them, the front Hood started to become nearly impossible to get open to the point that I had to pull up on the hood at the same time someone else pulled on the cable inside the car now while doing this this I noticed a small spring on the ground, And now I can’t seem to get the hood to fully latch So I don’t want to find out and need to at least relatch it completely ASAP (B4 I return the car)
Most likely you need a new cable, release spring and a good excuse.
