Hello, I am wondering which liquid you are using to remove the glue of the bezel and also OCA on the LCD from iPhone X-11 Pro Max. I was using 8222 but someone told me that 8222 might cause damage to the flex which actually did to a few LCDs that I worked on. The person recommend me to use 530 liquid but I don’t think we can get that in the US. So I was thinking maybe high % Isopropyl Alcohol…? if you can help me for this, that would be wonderful. thank you for your time!!
As far as removing the adhesive from the frame of the phone, I myself will use acetone and a q-tip. As far as removing the glue from the LCD or OLED panel, I’m not so sure about. I’ve heard of people using isopropyl alcohol for that part but as far as I know, glass only repair on OLED panel is impossible or very tricky at best. I’ve seen lots of videos online on how to do it and even attempted a couple times myself with no luck. If you’d like to share your results I’d love to see the results.
