Hey I recently bought a super 8 bell and Howell auto load 308 . One of the springs is missing on the battery lid - it looks as though the two springs are linked together - could this be fixed ?
Maria D I’d try and find a used battery cover. In the meantime I would get a battery spring from an old flashlight and try to fit it where the old one sat. Then I take that spring and connect the end to the “left over” end on the left sided spring and connect via some quick soldering. Give it a try and see what you get. Let us know what works or if my instructions are confusing :-)
