Beeps 3 times and doesn’t not start up. RAM is soldered so I can’t re-seat or clean and place it again. Please help, how to solve this problem when the RAM/memory is soldered in the logic board. Thank you.
Sadly, you need a new logic board. I would go to an Apple Store and give them a piece of my mind! Do make sure you didn’t get your system wet or have big dents in your system.
Hi Adrian, As @danj said, you most likely will need a new logic board. If you can get Apple to fix it for free or relatively cheap, go that route! However, if you are unable to get the help you need from them, we sell 3 different models of logic board for your particular machine, depending on which sub model you have. They aren’t cheap, but they will fix the problem: 2.7 Ghz Logic Board 2.9 Ghz Logic Board 3.1 Ghz Logic Board Good luck with the repair!
