My beats pill is not charging. Can it fix?
A very prevalent problem in lots of bluetooth speakers, including the Beats Pill. The micro-usb spec doesn’t specify a robust enough attachment to the motherboard. Over the course of use, the jack is literally pushed off the PCB, sometimes (often) taking the traces off with it. The replacement of the micro-usb jack is very often not straightforward at all, particularly when the traces have been lifted off. If you have skills, it can be done, but if not……..
You’ll want to troubleshoot the issue to narrow down the failed component. First check your wall outlet, make sure it’s providing powerCheck the charging cable against another, known working, cable to verify that works.Use canned air like Dust-Off to clear out any debris in the charging port itself. Use the guide on our website to open up your device and replace the charging port if necessary.
