Hello, My MacBook Air went through some liquid damage about a year ago and was unresponsive so I’ve left until now. I put on charge and powered on which it did but had 0% battery and then would turn off. I replaced the battery and left on charge all day, powered on and it worked but the battery went down from 75% to 50%. I tried charging but it come up with an error message when you click on the battery icon saying that the battery won’t charge. I don’t think it’s the battery and I don’t think it’s the charger, as the green and red lights come on. Any ideas?

Rats! Sadly, that points to a logic board failure within the charging circuit. Time to visit someone with the needed deeper skills and access to the needed parts.
