Chosen Solution
Got a new battery in my note 5. A few days later, it’s telling me charging paused, battery temperature too high. Battery temperature is normal though.
Probably the battery is faulty giving incorrect battery temperature information, I usually see the battery temperature too low message meaning liquid damage near the charging port area (where the thermistor component is).
