Chosen Solution
I replaced my A1707 LCD screen and initially everything worked fine. Now though the battery has stopped working and the computer won’t run unless it is plugged in. I assume the battery connector has somehow broken during the LCD installation process, but it it doesn’t appear to have any physical damage. Update (03/15/2021) Image of the battery connector
While I can’t say for sure as your picture is a bit blurry. I suspect your connector latch is not properly set. For references lets look at these two images. The first is the latch is down
And this one is with the latch up which is what your image shows!
So the connector is not pressing on the ribbon cable so its not electrically connecting reliably!
