Hi iFixit Forum I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 SM-P550 tablet. The battery stopped charging so thinking it was the battery I had this replaced. Unfortunately that wasn’t the problem as the new battery doesn’t charge either. I then realized that the charge/usb port wasn’t working as when I plug the tablet into a PC the PC doesn’t see the tablet. I had the charge/usb port replaced but this hasn’t fixed the issue. Any thoughts on what I can try now?
Yes. I have a really good fix that worked for me. My charger port stopped charging around 2 years ago. After several replacements of charger port and battery nothing seemed to worked. Then I realised, its because this is a Samsung product! I threw it in the garbage where it belonged and got myself products that wern’t of the Samsung brand. Everything seems to be working fine now! :)
