Hey guys, silly me when replacing the battery used the flat head that comes with the iphoine screens and saw a tiny spark :( so now the phone doesnt turn on, wondering what has shorted out here the battery or the logic board?
Why were you replacing the battery in the first place? Does the old battery still work? I’m assuming you got the spark off of the new battery? Plug it in with the old battery and see if it works, if it does, you killed a battery, if it doesn’t, you’ve got an afternoon of looking for damaged parts under the microscope and poking around with your multimeter ahead of you
Just leave your device in a while or so, and it will go back to it’s normal operation! Hence you might notice the backlight is not that bright and the home button is not functioning, some had issues on touchscreen and so their life too went nuts! Yeah just leave that for a while and you get all that, sparky!
