Battery Seems To Have Melted And Is Stuck Within The Phone What Do I Iphone 5S

I tried to install a new battery in my iPhone 5s. Seems the old battery has melted enough to cause it to be stuck within the phone. I have been unable to get it out of the phone to put in the new battery. Suggestions?

The battery melted? What happened to cause that? The battery is secured to the frame by two strong strips of adhesive. You can see the tabs attached to the end of the battery. Have you tried to remove these? It’s fairly difficult to remove the battery on the 5S without a good amount of heat.
