Hi - I followed the guide to replace my battery. I put everything back together and my phone wont turn on. I plug it in and get a red light, which turns to green. I try to turn it on and it eventually goes to a blue pulsing light. I have tried power + volume down, and power+volume down+ volume up, and power+volume up+volume down+ home, but I don’t get anything on the screen. Wondering if I could have damaged something during the repair? Thanks
Hmm. this seems to be a common symptom of screen issues. Please check to make sure your screen cable is firmly and properly snapped in onto the motherboard, and that all of your internal stuff is seated well and put back together firmly and cleanly. Check carefully under a bright light for very small cracks along the edges under the glass - AMOLED displays are very fragile and can easily crack under stress, especially if you tried to pry the old battery out.
