I installed a new battery and it will only charge up to 60%- why?
Try resetting the SMC (System Management Controller). This will reset all power settings. If this doesn’t work I would suspect the battery is bad before any other issues like the mobo, cable etc. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
