I have replaced my A1425’s retina screen assembly and, after reconnecting the battery (everything’s in place, no issues with interposer) it’s not being recognised. I cannot start the mac without AC power and the battery menu calls for replacement. I suspect the battery is misconnected or the cables damaged. How would you troubleshoot this?
