Hi I have purchased JY-G4 3.7V 3000 mAh online and have been using it almost for a year and a half. Today it stopped charging. I tried 3 different charging devices, but the power just wouldn’t go. The battery is not charging, and the power percentage goes down. Could you please advise what to do to fix this problem. Also, do you have a service center in New York City where I can go with this issue? Thanks!
Your Lithium battery’s may be sleeping. Sleeping lithium battery’s are battery’s that have lost capacity or entire cells. Its possible your battery is dead or one cell Once a lithium drops below the low voltage cutoff it will it will sleep producing no power. Even if the battery is a 3.7v it may have 3 cells in it. And one has dropped below 2.4v causing the battery to turn off. If the cell is bad it will take out the rest. If you don’t want to buy a new battery. You can try a external universal charger and see if that charges it.
I have the same problem with same model. After 1 and half year yesterday i couldn charge it anymore. I tried many chargers to select error. Than I went to service and they told me few minutes ago, that chip for loading doesnt work. I am from Slovenia, Europe, so i don t know where to find official service for repair. 1 year and 5 months i used it.
