Battery is at 93%. it says its plugged in and not charging. I have 2 HP Laptops and both have batteries that aren’t charging. The second one has an internal battery and cannot be changed.
Disconnect ACShutdownRemove battery (If removable) if not continue down belowConnect ACStartupGo to search and Type “Device Manager"Click on Device Manager a dialogue will pop upUnder the Batteries category, right-click all of the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery listings, and select Uninstall (it’s ok if you only have 1). ShutdownDisconnect ACInsert batteryConnect ACStartup Windows will automatically install it again “Plugged in, Not Charging” should now be gone. Ive had this issue and this is what I did to fix it, let me know if it works for you. Best Regards, FruitOstrich007
