So I got the kit and installed the new battery back in January. Everything went perfect and it was like a new phone again. Then I noticed my phone would die if the battery level got to about 18%. A few weeks later it was after it dropped below 40%. Then 50%, then 75%, 80% and now once it falls below 95% it shuts off. I plug it in and it restarts at 10% and quickly gets up to 100%. Sometimes it will turn back on after shutting off and will be at 73% charge or so. So what’s going on? Is my battery defective? Did I screw up one of the connections? The new Apple feature that shares your battery health doesn’t work for me, but an app from the App Store tells me my capacity is the full 100%, 1810/1810 mAh.

Hey Tim, recently Apple put out a software update, 11.3. It illegally targeted aftermarket batteries. They are in the process of being sued for it, but what you can do is look at another battery. First, I would test another battery. a company I have used for 3 years and had reliable abtteries from is Mobile Defenders. I would look at ordering a new battery for the time being.
