I went to a shop to have my cracked screen replaced, and 2 days later the phone completely wouldn’t turn on/anything. Took it back the guy said it was a bad battery and put a new one in. Worked fine for 2 weeks but would sometimes shut down randomly, but last night it did the same thing where it’s completely dead. Did he put a bad screen on? Like I’m assuming it’s the repair shops fault since I didn’t have this problem at all previously…
It’s possible the replacement screen is cuasing this. Usually its a bad flex, typically the FCAM flex. If the replacement screen was pre-populated, the flex is usually not original and can be of lower quality. If the flex was transferred, it may have been damaged. Either way, the shop should take a closer look at this and try a new screen. However, it’s also possible that this is a different issue and not related to the repair. Give the shop the chance to properly diagnose it and if they won’t, then find another reputable shop.
