Hi guys, So I’ve just recently replaced an iPhone 7 battery. However, it seems to keep restarting and doesn’t retain charge efficiently. For example, it was on 1%, then when plugged in jumped to 33% then when unplugged and used for around 10 seconds it dropped to 20%. Can someone please give me some advice as to what to do. Is it a faulty battery or have I missed something crucial? A screw is missing from the plate that surrounds the battery connector. Would a screw be causing this issue? Many thanks in advance Charlie

a screw missing will not cause this issue but if the battery connector isn’t seated properly then you will have issues so check that, if your still having problems I would connect the old battery up to see if the problems disappear, if they do then your new battery is at fault, if not then you may have damaged the board.
