I replaced my hard drive few months ago, then my laptop was working fine but after that I stopped using the laptop for last 3-4 months. Now when i turn on my laptop with power adapter plugged in it says battery is not detected. Laptop doesn’t work without power adapter. I have searched the internet and I have applied few things but It still doesn’t work. I have tried Replacing the batteryUpdating BIOSUpdating drivers Please help me out, any answer would be helpful. Thank you.
BIOS error messages about batteries are related to the CMOS battery, not the lithium-ion battery. Try replacing the CMOS; it may have lost its charge because the laptop was turned off for so long.
