Chosen Solution

I have been using Xiaomi Redmi 3 for abt 6 months now. When I woke up yesterday, the battery was dead but didn’t respond to any means of charging; tried different cables and three different USD slots, and even two different chargers. In the end even leaving it to “charge” overnight didn’t do a thing as the phone still doesn’t turn on. Could you please advise? Thanks

@arieva , Kristyna, Look in the charge port for dust/lint/etc. and carefully blow/pick out any see. Also check for any bent contacts in the charge port and carefully straighten with a tooth pick. If phone still under warranty return for repair/replacement/refund. If out of warranty you may want to open the phone up and check it out. The battery may be faulty and not able to charge or possibly a bad connection. The link below will get you inside the Xiaomi Redmi 3 and you can check/reseat connections, look for damaged/loose components, then retry phone. Still no go replace the battery as probably faulty. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9s8Ih_n
