Hello, I have a Motorola Droid 4. The goal is just to get the phone on long enough to be able to back up the data on the device. Like text messages, contacts, and facebook stuff and others. I went to order a replacement battery, that was charged to full 100%. The phone will not still turn on. Tried to connect the phone with a fast charger, and original charger and will not turn on, and even connecting the USB from pc to phone. The pc will not force it on. What can I do to just get the phone on for about half battery life or whatever we can get. I know battery I have is good. Just long enough to get phone on and back up data to the verizon cloud and transfer files to computer. Please, Please, Please, help! Would be a life saver for some one to. Since the person did not do a back up originally. Of course this person using it is not tech savvy, hence why I am trying to be hero. Also taken it into a verizon wireless, authorize dealer as well, and third party. No one so far could do anything. Thanks, karl

Boy. That is old phone. It’s probably toast. I used to have one with the same problem. Had a hard time finding a replacement that worked. Even OEM batteries barely worked. Try taking out battery and plugging in. Then hold down power. After that, put battery back and hold down again. Pretty nice little phone. Works good as a backup.
