Battery lasted at 6 hours while playing large games. Now it lasts 1 hour max, drains fast to about 44-49% then turns off. The battery was replaced about 6 months ago.
ahjohl sounds like a bad battery. Even so you may have changed your battery 6 months ago but quality of batteries can vary greatly, I suggest that you replace it once more and use a reliable vendor with quality batteries.
