I replaced the battery in my iPhone XS, and all seems to be well, however the battery does not charge. The phone recognises that a power source is connected through the tone (both through using the lightning port or charging pad), however the battery icon does not change to the battery icon superimposed with the spark. The battery is also stuck at 0%. I can boot the phone ok, but it shuts down after a few minutes if I do something that draws more power. In the end, I did a DFU restore to rule out any software issues, however this has not solved the issue. Anyone seen a similar issue?

It could have have a damaged connection on the battery I would take it off and check the connections and clean the connectors. Also check the capacitors next to the battery connector. You should also check the lightning port. Here is a video that shows what I was talking about. https://youtu.be/nsMl-_Q7cms

maybe get a technician to check or even replace the charging form
