Hi there, I was wondering if the temp sense pads/tracks are essential to charging, powering and/or turning on the phone. I am currently facing a similar situation as this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/help-...), where the battery connector has been burnt off. Thank you. Edit: The smaller, slimmer pins/pads could be generally known as signal pins. I’m asking about the middle four pins of the female component.
The temp sensor is located on the wireless charging coil on these devices. If that sensor isn’t connected or can’t communicate with the device, it won’t charge but it should still turn on as long as there aren’t any other damage.
