Took me ages to get this thing to snap open, and now it looks like I ruined the battery connector while trying to release the brown thing keeping the cable in place. Just after I had finally managed to get around that cursed metal casing… I tried putting the socket back and it seemed ok, but nothing happened when I reattached the battery flex cable. Is this something I could realistically fix at home? I’ve read nasty stories on ifixit involving soldering the PCB (or just replacing it altogether) and I really wish there was a simpler way to put it back on track. I don’t see any pins stuck inside the plastic part btw. Thanks! https://imgur.com/a/RhRDDU7
try putting the battery connector back on with respect to the appropriate position if u can’t turn the device on you can get battery connector here http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/bJSBFSxA and make a professional do the soldering for you cause i messed up two ipods the same way thinking way over confident of my solder skills.
