how can I set my battery life to a minimum of 40% before it shuts off? I only show it in minutes, not percentages.

Hi @timcindyl , If you have Win 10 installed try changing the following power settings to make the laptop shutdown when the battery level is at 40%

  1. Go to Control Panel > Power Options > Change plan settings (on your selected plan) > Change Advanced power settings > scroll down to Battery > click + symbol on Low Battery Action > On Battery > select Shutdown.
  2. Next click + symbol on Low Battery Level > On Battery > increase to 40%.
  3. Click Apply > OK (To get to Control panel type control panel in the Windows search box on the Taskbar and select the Control Panel desktop app link that appears in the options box).
