Batteries Wont Let Radio Power On Sony Cfs 204 Radio Cassette Corder

Radio will work with power cord but it won’t work when I put batteries in it (tried new batteries) How do I get it to work again?

Follow this guide to open up the radio: Disassembling Sony CFS-204 Radio Cassette-Corder Outer Casing Look inside and see if there are any loose or corroded connections. You may have to look at any circuitry parts that look burnt or bloated and replace them. If you need further help once you open up the radio, post the pictures here.
