Will a damaged lightning connector assembly cause the phone to randomly shut off? The taptic engine also stopped working..but the speaker is fine. Could this be a logic board issue? Thanks much
It could possibly be a bad battery that can cause the phone to shut off. The tapic engine get its connection through the charging port. So you could try to change it the part is not that expensive make sure to watch a few repair videos on YouTube to make sure you know what you are doing if you haven’t done this before. I use ifixit a fixez.com for my parts supplier. I thing the battery is around 30 dollars and the charging port is less than 8 dollars. I hope this information helps.
