Chosen Solution
I had a screen replacement for my iPhone 6s. After the replacement i’v had issues with the backlight. After some research i thought it was the filter that was blown (IC), but restarting my phone makes the backlight turn back on every time. The backlight sometimes turn off 10 times a day, and sometimes as little as one. Very annoying. But still its just a restart and its back. So i’m wondering if anyone have any other solutions that might help, or is it only the backlight ic that can cause this problem?
Backlight driver / circuit issue on logic board. Take your phone to a reputable microsoldering that offers a no fix no fee if you want to get it fixed. Probably going to cost around $100-$200 to fix.
