I have a samsung 32" lcd tv model number LN32D450G1D. On day the backlight just stopped working everything else still works and can see the image on my screen with a flashlight. I bought a backlight inverter and switched it out with no fix. What else could be the problem? Also when I turn the tv on the power button blinks 5 times. I checked all the capacitors and none looked damaged or bulged also all the wiring looks good. Thanks for the help
@mick72391 Samsung TV’s blink but Samsung does not use blink codes for troubleshooting. Your case sounds like your TV is not getting a signal to turn the inverter on. Post some images of all of your boards and how they interconnect with your question, that way we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that.Check on your main board (the one with all the video input connections) for connector CN201. Check the voltages as follows: 1 B5 V 2 SW_POWER 3 B5 V 4 A5 V 5 GND 6 GND 7 B12VS 8 GND 9 B12VS 10 SW_INVERTER 11 B13 V 12 NC 13 B13 V 14 PWM_DIMM If you do not show the voltages your issue could very well be with the power board.
I had the same problem. Replacing power board fixed the issue. Hope this helps.
