I’m working on a macbook pro 13" retina display, I replaced the backlight fuse and still nothing. Model is A1425, Where is the WLED Driver located on that model?

Michael, the backlight driver on this model is reference designator U9701. Looks like another TI IC LP8545SQX-EXTJ. Check the image for the location. Hope this helps, good luck.

the backlight driver never dies on this. on a1425 the fuse can die, on a1502 the fuse does not. check pin 1 of lcd connector to see what it looks like, check for short to ground. the “fuse” in a1502 retina models IS pin 1 of the LCD connector. and check, if there IS* a short to ground on pin 1 of LCD connector, if it goes away when you unplug the LCD.
