Hey all! I got a Ibook g3 12". The backlight works fine when the computer just booted and you don’t touch the LCD. The second the computer moves even the slightest bit the backlight cuts out and won’t come on till you reboot. Need help ASAP. Thanks!
@e_ah could be an issue with the inverter cable as well as the inverter itself. Time to take it apart and check things out, in particular the inverter wiring. Those could be loose or have a shaved off insulation which may shorten it out. Use these guides iBook G3 12" Repair for that and let us know what you find.
