Hi, i have a Linsar 50” Tv and usually when watching netflix or play games off my playstation, the feed will randomly cut out but sound will continue to come out the tv. However the tv’s backlight remains on and this can only be fixed by turning the tv off and back on. Any Ideas? Thanks
Hi @fraizifel It could be a software error, so try contacting Linsar and check if there is a software update available for your model. There is no user manual available online (you have to contact Linsar by email to get one) so I don’t know if the update if there is one, may be possible online, by using the TV’s menu settings for a software update if there is one that is. If it is not software then it is either a mainboard or tcon board problem as this is where the video signal comes from and through to get to the LCD screen. You could try the SCART input if possible, as this will narrow down the problem to the mainboard if it works OK. SCART is an analogue signal which doesn’t use the digital signalling processor on the mainboard as do the HDMI signals. The power board seems to be OK as the backlights and the audio are still working. It’s like the TV has “glitched” just like a computer. Sorry to be so vague but there’s not much in the way of service info on your brand or model online.
