I’ve enabled Bluetooth on my Toyota Camry 2008 and my iphone 6 finds it and is connected; however, when I play a song from my iphone, it won’t heard through the speakers of my car!!! I expected when the Bluetooth is connected and the sign of the Bluetooth on the screen of my car showing, then I should be able to listen my music on my iphone through the speakers of my car. I also tried Aux button on my car, it seems it’s not working while all the CD player, radio stations are working perfectly. Could you please tell me what the problem is and how I can fix it? Thanks Nahid
well, you would need to run other tests to check if it is the car or the phone. In 2008, not a lot of bluetooth handsfree items supported media, as they were installed for driver safety, not for luxury Does it accept phone calls? can you hear phonecalls through the bluetooth? Does it work on a bluetooth headset? because if you get music through bluetooth headphones, then you know its a car issue. (Make sure the headset supports Audio Media, and not just calls before running the test) At this point, if it works through other bluetooth devices, you will want to read up on your User manual for the car to make sure your car supports media audio through the blue tooth.
