Fan belt jumped off of pulleys. 2000 e-150 61k on it 4.2 v-6. Found the automatic belt tensioner was frozen and the pulley itself frozen. Can I just replace the pulley or do I to replace the whole mechanism. ?
If the tensioner was frozen and the pulley was frozen then you need to replace the whole unit. The belt will just come off again because it won’t keep tension on it. And it will come with a new pulley on it.
