Hello everyone! I am posting to ask about my iPhone’s audio jack not working. I am sure something burned, but I don’t know what to replace. It happened when I knowledgeably connected a “Satellite only” port to the audio jack. It started making noises and then it stopped the music playing. Anyway, the phone became really hot, but luckily there was no other harm to the devise. After that, I read online that if the audio was not working I needed to replace it. The piece that I replaced included the antenna and the charging port. Unfortunately the audio jack was still not working after the repair. I would really appreciate if I would get help. I reiterate that that is the only problem. The loudspeaker actually still works. The only audio source not working is the audio jack Thank you in advance! :)
No, I didn’t find a solution. I have another phone now, so I just gave up on fixing the other one. I have no idea what was wrong with it. It could have been something more expensive. Now I’ll just be more careful with my experimentations.
