Good day, I have an lenovo laptop G505 it only çame with one audio port that’s audio out I think headphones how do I get that port it be audio in so I can connect my guitar please help
NO NO NO !!!! Audio OUT leads to speakers, headphones, and other audio-OUT-PUT things. A guitar is a audio-IN-PUT thing, like a microphone. You must have a audio-input-port for guitars and microphones. If your laptop does not have both audio-IN and audio-OUT ports, then the alternative is a USB device. There are a zillion USB devices in the music/audio world. Its overwhelming. I tend to search eBay, to learn what is available, and what others are buying. The guitar/microphone mixer is a common accessory.
@ashleypater4 your Lenovo has an audio combo jack. It uses a jack like this
. So you could use an adapter as sold on here as well as many other places.
