Hi i have this iphone 7 that i got it from a friend.it was working fine but first the phone fall from the table and broke the screen after couple of more drops the phone got sympthons of broken audio ic then after using it in that condition started to show no service with ! Is it the audio ic that cause no service or something else? Update (01/31/2020) I bring the phone to the service first they told me that they fixed the nand and audio ic only wifi was left after couple of days gone i called them and they told me that the phone cant be repair.So now i got black screen of death and when i try to restore i got error4014
The audio IC does not cause service issues however the root cause here is dropping the phone repeatedly. That causes the small copper traces connecting the C12 pad to crack (Audio IC/Loop Disease). The drops could also have caused some damage to the antenna interconnects or possibly a cracked solder ball under the Baseband PMU or CPU. The logic board needs to be thoroughly inspected and probed to know for certain.
