I’m still trying to figure out the deal with this computer. Please look at the following code. To me it looks like a checksum is performed to verify the disk image is the correct malware, then it installs some malicious device drivers. Also, I mapped this drive to be APFS. I’m not sure why HFS is showing up. Any help would be great. Here is the code too. I’m surprised the Brave disk image is being called 89UUIEOFWEW. S is what I named the hard drive. jonathannormal@Jonathans-iMac /volumes % ls jonathannormal@Jonathans-iMac downloads % cd /volumes jonathannormal@Jonathans-iMac /volumes % ls 89UUIEOFWEW s jonathannormal@Jonathans-iMac /volumes % hdiutil attach /Users/jonathannormal/Downloads/Brave-Browser-x64.dmg Checksumming Driver Descriptor Map (DDM : 0)… Driver Descriptor Map (DDM : 0): verified CRC32 $B7D1E44D Checksumming Apple (Apple_partition_map : 1)… Apple (Apple_partition_map : 1): verified CRC32 $6E33BD26 Checksumming DiscRecording 9.0.3d5 (Apple_HFS : 2)… ……………………………………………………………………. I recommend you find your way to an Apple store to have them help you =rebuild your system as you clearly have some apps which have been broken into with malware threats! You will need to make sure you completelyt wipe your internal drive and re-install from the App store as well as known safe apps from major vendors. I wouldn’t install anything from Github at this point as I =encountered some strange stuff a few months ago. My Anti-virus and malware tools flagged it and I removed it..========
