Chosen Solution

I recently purchased a new ASUS X55OZE with windows 8 from amazon. Today I performed a clean install of Windows 10 on the device (I didn’t make a backup because I had nothing saved on the computer). The install seemed to go smoothly, but now when I start up the computer, the touchpad will not work after the login screen. I tried looking in the touchpad and mouse settings to see if it had been disabled, but there was not option to enable/disable the touchpad, only to adjust its sensitivity. I’m pretty lost on where to go from here. I would try to reinstall the touchpad drivers but I can’t figure out how to do that without use of the touchpad!
