Hello community of iFixit, I’ve a problem with my Asus laptop model x501a.. I can’t enter the BIOS because the laptop give me a blue screen and stucks on it.. Can someone help me please? Thanks!
I would try using another pc and downloading the bios firmware and tool to reflash the bios. If you can’t get that far I would suggest taking the laptop apart carefully and look for the button cell battery cr2032 and remove it for a couple minutes, then replace and put the laptop back together. Make sure you have no static electricity build up before you start. You also may want to try removing the battery and then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Replace battery and retry.
