Hi guys, is it possible to use the laptop (Asus Rog strix scar G733Q) with open panel? I am doing some mining when not using it for gaming or work and would like if you share with me how I can use it with open back panel and preferably disconnected battery. Disassembling and assembling back the laptop is not an issue. The problem is when the back panel is away from the laptop it doesn’t want to start at all. As soon as I put everything back together the laptop is starting like nothing happened.
You might be able to find a bios option that would allow you to do this, otherwise look for a switch or button on the board that senses if the panel is on and put a piece of tape on it.
