Left side of screen not responding to touch input. I replaced the digitizer (glass screen) but no change. I did not replace the LCD.
Try cleaning the touch screen connector with isopropyl alcohol + could be dust inside the connector on one side. To confirm is the one side touch not working also before the screen replacement or after? Sometimes it can be caused by liquid damage near the touch screen connector as well.
Omg LCD does not affect touch on the iPad 2 so save ur money and do not replace the LCD if it is working fine… what is the history of the iPad was the original digi cracked or what happened to it??? Shine a torch and use a magnifying glass or maybe a phone on zoom on the connector that the digi plugs into to examine it properly
Ya you probably needed to replace the whole thing if it looks normal that’s probably the issue but if you have a bunch of green/red/blue lines running down it that would be the digitizer. Just replace the whole screen
