I am looking for detailed instructions on removal and replacement of the adhesive between the battery and the device
I use iFixit’s adhesive remover for stuff like that. Just put a few drops (one drop per 2 inches and spread it out ) onto the adhesive and the adhesive should go kaput to the point where you can scrape/peel it off. iFixit Adhesive Remover
